Alpe Devero, located in the far north of the Piedmont Region and bordering Switzerland, is part of the municipality of Baceno in the province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola. It is also a member of the Mountain Community of the Ossola Valleys. Since 1990, it has been included in the protected areas of the Piedmont Region, along with Alpe Veglia, forming the Natural Park Veglia-Devero.

In the summer, this area serves as the starting point for numerous hikes and walks suitable for all levels, making it the ideal season for a day tour at Devero Alp.
