Make your own cheese

We love formaggi in Italy. We love it so much we use it for every part of the meal. We put in on a plate with fruit and jam, we put it on pizza and pasta, we even use it for our desserts like tiramisù.

During your lesson you will learn how to make fresh cheese and after you will taste it together with a Farm to Table served lunch.

The lesson will begin at the dairy farm, where we’ll say hello to the animals and visit the barn where you can learn about the wonderful variety of cheeses produced.

After you’ve smelled all the cheese, we’ll take our fresh milk and bring it back to the kitchen to begin our own cheesemaking process.

When you’ve finished cooking, sit back and enjoy the spectacular view of the Ossola valley. Our staff will serve you each dish paired with good local wines from the region.

It’s not every day you get to make cheese with your own hands, but in this workshop, you can do just that and enjoy it for lunch while soaking in the beauty of a typical Italian farm close to the Lake Maggiore
